WHITE GOLD cashmere and muga silk wedding thin organic felt scarf was created by wet felting - an antique technique of manufacturing non-woven fabric. Blend of natural organic non-dyed white cashmere fiber (33%), non-dyed organic muga silk fiber with unique natural gold color (25%) and non-dyed natural white organic merino wool fiber 18mic (42%) was hand felted together.

Some words about Muga silk:
It is well said, ‘all that is golden and shimmering is Muga’. Muga silk is popularly known for its natural shimmering golden color and its sumptuous royal, heavenly and sensual look. The fabric has the highest tensile strength and is very durable. This is the second costliest fabric, after Pashmina silk, in the world. It absorbs moisture better than ordinary silk and hence it is more comfortable to wear.
The unusual color of muga silk makes people to worship it as an earthly symbol of Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth. In Assam, it is believed that muga brings good luck to its owner.


My felted items are wholly and exclusively handmade. Each item is unique and may differ slightly from the one presented on the photo.

CARE:
The felt is easy care. Wool is a unique organic fiber and has a self-cleaning ability. However, if necessary, you can wash it. For better result and long lasting quality of the felt use gentle hand wash in slightly warm water with hair shampoo. Do not change the water temperature when you rinse out the soap. Wrap it up into a towel for a few mins, then iron with steam .

This blue leather journal is soft yet very durable. The size (6 x 4.5) is perfect for tucking into a purse or backpack. The 120 pages (240 if you count both sides) consist of white 124 gsm weight paper that has a good tooth for writing or sketching. The pages have been hand sewn with blue waxed Irish thread. The journal opens completely flat for easy use. A long strap holds everything together (with velcro). An antique skeleton key bookmark is included.

This journal listed is ready to ship and the one you see in the picture will be the one you receive.

Journal will be mailed via USPS Priority Mail, except to Canada. Shipments to Canada are mailed First Class International Mail.

This piece is a one of a kind pendant made from polymer clay.

The polymer clay flat bead in delicate tones of pale blue, lavender and off-white with silver accents has been made using a mix polymer clay techniques including skinner blend, mica shift and mokume gane, sanded by hand and then hand buffed to a soft sheen.

The pendant is 3.5cm (1.4'') wide and 7cm (2.8'') long.
On its back it is provided with two loops of transparent buna cord which can accommodate stringing material up to 4mm in diameter, as shown in the picture. The pendant can be strung on a variety of stringing material to make it fit different styles and occasions.

You will get the pendant strung on a 45cm (18'') stainless steel cord with a screw clasp.
It will arrive nicely packaged and gift-ready.

This pendant is truly an unique and very elegant piece of jewelry.

I don't know the origin of this heart other than the attic box from which it came. One and half inches across, the little puffed heart is hand stitched, navy blue leather, little ribbon loop, and stamped "Navy" in silver. Perhaps it was a military keepsake in memory of a loved one? At any rate, it's a sweet piece of history and would make a charming Valentine.

Industrial style steel gray square bars are set side by side five wide in this minimalist necklace. Each vintage square steel bar is 20mm long, and the pendant ends up being rather petite. The .925 sterling silver necklace chain (16") is new and is closed with a sterling silver (.925) spring clasp. Bars are vintage, but chain and findings are new.

Each necklace comes with a gift box tied with a ribbon and a sweet hand-stamped tag for easy gift giving and a small zipper baggie for storage.
